DaVaughn Jackson, LCPC & LPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri. I’m a Christian for over 20 years and an active minister in my church in the helping ministries.

Prior to the Covid 19 pandemic, I primarily worked in the secular field for over 14 years as a co-occurring psychotherapist in a variety of community mental health treatment environments with individuals experiencing a variety of symptoms and issues including: substance addictions, severe mental illness, crisis, and trauma.

Over the past year, as an independent contracting therapist, my client focus has evolved to individuals affected by mild to low symptoms of anxiety, depression and trauma with self esteem, relationship and parenting issues. I also enjoy aiding with career coaching.

I’m excited about forging this new biblical/Christian counseling approach for my practice. As Christians, we are instructed to come alongside, hear the need, using God’s Word to help a person change (Col. 1:28-29; 3:16). I know that Jesus is the Answer and His Word is sufficient for all manners of this life. (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

I’m humbled to embark on this journey with those individuals that He has for me! I utilize therapeutic models such as: Solution Focused Brief Therapy, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, trauma informed care along with biblical interventions as each individual prefers. I desire to be an aid in you becoming the person that GOD created you to be… Let’s get started!
